This just in: be on the lookout for some new Madvillainy.

The supreme duo are back, with a Madlib’s prog-jazz sampled beat and Doom’s characteristically space odyssey rhymes that he “wrote on sandpaper.” Recognize.

This is the second track from Adult Swim’s Singles Program, following the release of a Matt Sweeney & Bonnie ‘Prince’ BIlly tune last week. “Papermill” is scheduled to appear on their forthcoming Stones Throw release, Madvillainy 2.

I like this! I heard recently that Adult Swim are responsible for launching a lot of new talent into the public sphere. (Not that Madvillan are all that new, I’ve heard of them before I’ve just never listened to them until now.)

Anyway well done Adult Swim for exposing me to some serious Jams. God knows I needed it.
